People are at the heart to any process of change (or have you ever said “hello” to an organisation?). You cannot fundamentally make people into something different but how you approach change programmes and how you engage your teams will be critical to the overall success.
At onion-project we know that people do not follow you because it is the logical thing to do. They follow you because the feel a connection towards you and/or the goal. So the one thing to do for you is transport the vision of the future in all ways possible.

The more interacting and fun way you engage with your organisation the easier it is for your transformation.

Honest and direct interaction with your employees can feel a bit uncomfortable at first. However – you have the best employees (they would not work for you if it would be otherwise) and therefore they will understand. And you still need to follow a plan that will be subject to change because the path the future is rocky and curvy.

Nowadays leaders know a lot about management and but less about leadership. To become a leader one has to face his personal barriers and establish a personal vision. Every program needs therefore to focus firstly on the leader’s personal transformational journey then on how each leader can support organisational transformation. Furthermore, every program has to be deeply rooted in the culture of the organisation.

I develop programs that takes the design principles, leadership concepts and your unique ulture and extend them into the organizational practices required in the 21st century.

Knowing that people learn through facing immersive experiences reproducing real-life scenarions, an onion-project program will have challenging situations. After all, you do not learn to sail without wind.

michael liehmann

Michaels passion are groups. To trigger the creative potential of a group of people and to accompany them on a journey to see what strength and joy lies
in doing something together is one of his goals.

Michael as a wide range of experience in supporting difficult organisational transformations and in designing and facilitating challenging leadership development journeys. His international management experience, combined with numerous trainings in the areas of systemic consulting, coaching enable him to work in a diverse, focused and high-quality manner. Further more he is a Kaospilot Experience Designer and connects complex change with experiences that let people and organisations grow. Michael grew up in Austria, has worked all over the globe and has lived for more than 3 years in his most favourite city, London.

Currently he and his family live next to Vienna where they enjoy life and occasionally the mountain side of Austria. Customers appreciate his sense of humor, his lightness and positive side of being and his constant strive for more value.
